Many people have the will to quit and give up. This is shown in “ The Ugly Duckling” when the duck says “ I think I will sit on it longer,” said the duck;” as I have sat so long, a few days will be nothing” ( 5 Hans Christian Andersen). She was already about to give up and let the egg go but didn't.
