What is fear? Well, fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, and is likely to cause pain or a threat. there are many references to fear then what is written out on the pages, for instance, a lot of people have fears of being alone and lost and in this case book its just that which happens but everyone handles their fears differently whether it secretive or in front of everyone some examples are the main characters of the book Lord of the flies

Piggy fears a lot he worries that he will lose or break his glasses and be blind and not be able to see anyone or anything he shows this by his expressions and actions when Jack and the others Steal his glasses out of the fort him and ralph were sleeping in.also he loses hope of going and ever seeing his family again during the days he's spent there he is scared Jack taking over as chief and leader of the group he is concerned that Ralph will give up being chief and back down from his superior role in the group and to express his opinion and concerns he talks to Ralph as he is piggies therapist Ro and concerns he talks to Ralph as if he is a therapist hence why he stayed loyal to Ralph till he died …show more content…
Ralph trembles the site of Jack turning the other kids into savages as he is in dismay that he is too weak to be a chief and fail everyone and everyone will and fail everyone and everyone will despise himself the thought of never going home leaves him uneasy in secrecy as he wants to be brave in front of the little ones to be a good role model and secretly in secrecy as he wants to be brave in front of the little ones to be a good role model and secretly he is afraid that he'll make the wrong decision and lead the rest of the group down the opposite path in life and he is afraid and shaking at the idea of letting the group
