Fear is one of the strongest human emotions and a great motivator. In the short story “Lather and Nothing Else”, one of the best barber in town plays the main character alongside Captain Torres. Captain Torres a guy that have been killing people in the town. The barber portrays a series of fear in this story. He was very fearful from the moment captain walked in till after he finished shaving his beard.
When Captain Torres walked in the barbershop to get a shave the barber began to shake in his boots. Knowing that they are both enemies. It seems as if the barber had never been face to face with his enemy before. He was very shocked
