Although also expressed that this ordeal was not known to be an act of terror or anti-gay hate, it still shows that there are those who will take action to harm a certain group of people that they disagree with. Thankfully, the actions have also caused more activists to stand up and take charge of the current homophobia situation in Kenya. Wesangula gives information that the National Gay And Lesbian Human Rights Commission has been applying to register themselves as an organization not under the government, but allowed to coincide with the LGBT+ community of the country.
