Why I Want To Become A Police Officer

Growing up in Colorado was an easy lifestyle. There was one gang but they never came around to harm people. Sure, they would give the police some problems once in a while, but they didn 't kill anyone. When I was in middle school, I was looking into my future. I had always wanted to become a police officer, and go to college and get a degree for Criminal Justice, but I wasn 't sure. My mother hated the fact of me being in Law Enforcement. She would say that it was against God 's law. I always have believed in God, but Law Enforcement would never be out of my life. When I continued onto High School, I was getting great grades, keeping my head out from underwater so I could join the Explorer 's program. I really wanted to join another school …show more content…
I was then the Director of Human Resources. I did the same thing that I did as Lieutenant, the only difference was the change in name of rank. I worked very hard throughout my time in FDSA, and I was promoted to Assistant Chief by the Chief. I was now an official member of the High Command team once again. I was Assistant Chief for about 5 years ((5 months)) and I stayed that way for a while, but I had absolutely no complaints. I was the Director of Personnel and I had a great job. My hard work was rewarded with yet another promotion. I was now the Deputy Chief, the second in command of the whole department. I carried the FTO division along for a month because everyone employed in the division either quit, retired, left the division or the department itself, or just simply didn 't do any FTO work. I had worked very hard for the division for a while, and then the Chief of Police promoted me to Staff Sergeant. The Director of FTO that wasn 't doing much work was finally removed, and my friends were promoted around me. We took over the FTO division and did a ton of work for it.
