My interview was conducted with a spectacular woman by the name of Fay Hain. She is 77 years old but that doesn’t stop her from doing anything. Fay attended high school in Reading Pennsylvania in 1950’s. Coming from a Pennsylvania Dutch family she has had the chance to familiarize herself with the tradition language they speak. I would say she is one of the happiest and caring person that I have ever met. She takes care of her two children and three grandkids which can definitely be a lot from time to time. Even though there is a lot on her plate sometimes she still manages to give me a smile every time I see her and make me happy also. Fay as lived an exciting and great life through the years and this is a little bit about what she went through. She only has one sibling, her sister Barbara who is quite the character. Though sisters will always fight, they are still close to each other …show more content…
She said, “I admired my aunt Falma for who she was as a person, she was always able to keep a happy family and always win the hearts of everyone.” Fay was impressed with the fact when everything seemed to be falling apart her aunt was always able to keep her head on her shoulders and work everything out to make keep her family happy. Fay’s role model was Audrey Hepburn, a very successful actress from the 1950’s. She looked up to her because that was the life she wanted to live, a famous actress with good looks and gets to travel around seems like a good life. Audrey Hepburn was a highly fashionable icon back in the day which requires being active all the time to maintain a healthy life. Fay said that some other things that influenced her was the artwork of Norman Rockwell. The realistic style pieces that he makes stands out to her. Art is a passion of hers and Norman is by far the favorite of her art collection, she has his work spread out all around her house for everyone to

My mom came to the U.S for her kids to have a better lifestyle and better education. At the end of the day, she accomplished what she wanted because both my siblings and I have had a great education. However, she also had to give up a lot, for example, leaving her family members behind and having to start a new life in a place where she doesn’t know anybody. Another reason she came to the U.S was because of the money.…
