Finally the bell rings for lunch. I went to the lunch line when we got to the cafeteria. At least they had pizza today. When I got my lunch I went to sit down with my best friend Emily. I told her what happened and she says, “That’s horrible!” Then Sylvia suddenly sat down across from me and says, “So, did you like your new sweater?” She said it sarcastically and then stared at me with a grin. She said looked like a hawk about to dive for its prey. Then Emily says, “Oh shut up Sylvia!” Sylvia rolled her eyes and got up to sit with her group of rude girls. I was happy that Emily was defending me.
