It's back to class, and less sleep, for many high schoolers. One in particular is Nicole Bankowski. She is in the student council, sings in choir, edits the high school's newspaper, and she has to take 4 AP classes. “It’s probably not the healthiest way to live, but it’s the only way to get everything done,” said Bankowski. It's said in the article that all teenagers should get up to 8.5 to 9.5 hours of sleep. Due to teenagers not getting enough sleep, schools have been starting school later. More than 8 out of 10 schools start early then 8:30. Most places in Chicago usually start around 8 o'clock, but for athletes their practice starts around 6 am. Fatigue is a way of life for them.
