Fate is to blame for Romeo and Juliet death, because they were fated to die from the beginning and all the events that occurs was to lead them to their death. For example, if Romeo hadn’t gone to the party they wouldn’t have met, if the mailman would’ve arrived a bit earlier than Romeo would have gotten the letter, and only if Juliet would have woken up earlier or Romeo had arrive moments later, all would’ve been well, but that didn’t happen because they weren’t meant to be. Romeo & Juliet is a play written by Shakespeare, a play about two young star-crossed lovers who takes their own lives. The story took place in Verona where two households, the Montagues and the Capulets have been feuding for years. As fate had it, the children from the different household met and instantly fell in love. The young couple decided to get married in secret, but their happiness didn’t last as Romeo slayed Juliet cousin because of the feud. Romeo is than banished from Verona. First of all, everything would’ve been well if their family hadn’t been rivals. If only Juliet or Romeo had a different last name than it would've have been a happy outcome, but none of it was like that “His name is Romeo, and a Montague, The only son of your great enemy” (Act 1 Scene 5 line 753 & 754). As they weren’t meant to be, everything was dead set against them and so their relationship was doomed to fail. All the events that will take place will be so that it would lead them to their death.
