There is also a strange moment when Dumb Donald says that he has his mask on because he doesn't have a face when he really does. The movie is sweet and gentle, but not very compelling. All but its younger viewers will be expecting a little more excitement along with Fat Albert's encouragement of Doris, because Fat Albert came out of the tv to help Doris’s problem on which why she was crying when they jumped out to help Doris’s situation out.Even though people didn’t know that they were the cast of “Fat Albert” Reggie had a little suspension that he knew they were from the show.It would’ve felt weird and creepy if people knew that they were them.

Once again, Abraham lies in an alien land and uses Sarah to safeguard his life. Similar to the fate of the Pharaoh, the deity threatens King Abimelech’s life because of Abraham’s deceit. However, this time, the deity states that Abraham is a prophet and informs the king that Abraham has the power to pray for him and save his life. King Abimelech gives Abraham sheep, oxen, and male and female slaves just as the Pharaoh had done in Egypt. Thus, from one narrative to the next, as Abraham journeys through alien lands, he gains not only material resources, including livestock and slaves, which improves his social-economic status, but he also receives land and silver (20:16) and increased socio-religious status and power through his covenant with the Lord and the Lord’s conference of the position “prophet” upon him.…

Unlike Wilder’s comments on gender issues and identity, Brooks addresses the distinction between good and evil in his film. He presents the protagonist Bart, played by Cleavon Little, as a relatable person despite being an African American; he smokes, has sex, and sings. However, the white characters of the film are presented as comedic fools who have outrageous characteristics or behaviors: Mongo is a dull giant, Taggart and Lyle are the villainous buffoons, and Jim is famous for having the fastest hands in the world.…

Personally, I think understanding the ACE's influences my knowledge about adolescents and young adults in a big way. When we see children who are sick, we might assume that they have a cold or were born with a disease. When we see a child who is withdrawn, we might assume they are shy or have a problem socializing with their peers. When we see a child that is all over the place, we might assume they are energetic or ADHD. However, because of the ACE's we now know that these factors could be the result of childhood trauma.…

I was a generally happy child like most, but I was also fortunate enough to have parents that taught me that it is ok to cry, get angry, be envious, fear things – so long as I had a balance. On the contrary, I know that there are children who do not realize this. Immediately after watching this movie, I thought about what a great educational tool this movie could be for children. If this film were to be used in a therapy session as a tool I think the therapist would most likely be practicing Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT). CBT emphasizes the role of thinking about the link between how we feel and what we do.…
