In the eyes of your love, you 're perfect. In the eyes of your peers, your not worth it.
Romeo loved and so did Juliet, but their love was fast and their family’s hatred was not a good duet. Lets sink our eyes, in this passage of what Shakespeare wanted to accomplish in this play of two lovers who die. In Shakespeare 's Romeo and Juliet, when the playwright explores the general theme of Fast vs. Slow, he is urging his audience to believe that love can happen between any circumstances and love at first sight can be true because of belief that Romeo thinks that he is truly in love with Juliet, and Juliet is with him, already and over Rosaline so fast but the families feud is a slow battle between the Capulets and Montagues which should have

Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, just swear to be my love And I 'll no longer be a Capulet.” Ok so this is the famous balcony scene in the play and this is Juliet talking to herself outside yelling in confusion and anger and love. She is asking why must Romeo be a Montague because that 's her family’s enemy but she says in this quote that she will still love Romeo even though she 's a Capulet and he 's a Montague, ignoring the battle between the two houses. Shakespeare is getting the point across that young love is crazy and rebellious, and such a fast love that even though the slow battle between the families isn 't enough for the love of two crazy teens. Juliet 's fast love for Romeo is so strong she doesn 't care for the slow feud of the families relating to the duality, again of Fast vs. Slow. Juliet plays a big part in the love vs. the hate of the two houses so lets take a look at another quote by her. “ 'Tis but thy name that is my enemy.Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.” In this similar scene to the one above, Juliet is saying, the name (Romeo) is her enemy but only because of the …show more content…
Slow and also a theme of love at first sight, and love can overcome the hardest of obstacles. The quotes were basic but they showed you a more in depth play topic. I hope enjoyed, I know the two star-crossed lovers did not, but farewell and like Shakespeare would say, bye you artless weather bitten

Romeo’s heart was torn into pieces by Rosaline as she didn’t feel the love he felt for her, “she’ll not be hit with cupids arrow”. By Romeo using such depressing language to portray how upset and down he is shows the passion he had for Rosaline, “ sad hours seem long”. Romeo also uses oxymoron’s to describe how grieved and hurt he feels, “ I live dead”, O loving hate”. This reveals how confused Romeo feels as the unreciprocated love has made him feel shut down, “ I have a soul of lead”. Romeo uses negative words against himself to explain his emotions which points out to the audience that unrequited love is very heartbreaking and sorrowful and also that you shouldn’t love someone so instantly as it can result to disappointment.…
