Fast Food vs. Healthy food
Along time ago, people ate foods that are safe for their health and wellness. The people from before also took a lot of time to prepare their own nutrients. So those people were not being impressed by the ideas of food that they are rusted, because all of the foods that they had were natural foods and healthy. Today 's, most of people in the world are very busy. They don’t have time to cook foods at home. That is why most of people are choose to eat foods that are ready cooked. Sometimes, they do not think about what they eat, and if it can affect their health or not.
Among all of the high-income countries in the world, obesity rates remain the highest in the US. According to Christopher Robert Aloia, fast food has been implicated as one of the contributors to increased population rates of obesity. “Unhealthy eating habits have contributed to the obesity epidemic in the United States: about one-third of U.S. adults (33.8%) are obese and approximately 17% (or 12.5 million) of children and adolescents aged 2—19 years are obese”,(christopher robert aloia). With obesity rates this high, America is facing a huge crisis that could become greater in the future. In order to understand the issue of Obesity in America it is important to evaluate the extent to which the problem affects large populations of children and adults and how the fast food industry has served as one of the major causes of this epidemic.
