Adults and children are not longer getting their recommended about of physical activity a day and it is really starting to take a toll on the well-being of Americans. With physical education programs being cut and only having six states require physical education in every grade kindergarten through high school. I believe that these actions are killing American kids quicker. US kids need to learn how to be physically active and understand that physical activity can be fun. United States schools are focusing less on the physical aspect of the children including in the classroom and the lunchroom.
In the lunchroom kids are being given options and without the proper prior knowledge they are making the unhealthy choice based on taste. Schools across the US are cutting back on the budgets for the lunchrooms which forces the kitchen staff to make difficult decisions about what to feed the kids since they don 't have as much money and they need to feed hundreds of kids. I think that if three separate doctors are tell you to stop this diet because it could cause lifelong harm than I think you have proven your point that you are trying to make. I also found it interesting after his second weigh in he had lost a few pounds. I found that interesting because that is something that you would normally not think about hearing from someone that has only been eating McDonald’s.
I think that one of the best parts of the movie is when he goes into a bunch of McDonald’s to try and find the nutritional facts about the food that is being served in the restaurant. Through their searches through a handful of stores the information was either hidden, not put up or no where to be found in the restaurant. I understand why this is something that needs to be looked at but to be completely honest not many americans will know how to read one of these nutritional charts and understand all of the information that is being told on the
