Twenty years ago, the demand for a high educational level was not imperative, people who had jobs in the area of manufacturing, transportation, and mining, were considered to be classified as middle class; nowadays middle class is composed mainly by people carrying out jobs in education, health care, finance and information technologies; all requiring a higher level of education.

Fast food has become the go to place to get food, since it is both convenient and affordable, allowing us to have more time to be allocated to our daily life activities.
Fast-food companies have a great influence on middle class since its establishments are located in strategic locations and have marketed products that attract the attention of the population. These franchises often offer low prices, convenience and incorporate in their kids’ meals free toys that make the middle class perceived this foods more attractive.
In the studies that have been made about verifying the population consuming fast food more often, the following aspects related directly to the conduct observed were: women visit less frequently food establishments, as opposed to the male gender; class with a higher level of education tends to choose fast food restaurants; people who have long hours of work also consume this food, since their time is limited; and finally smokers also prefer this style of food.
