A fashion photographer is a photographer who highlights clothing and other fashionable products in different ways to make memorizable and standing out. They tend to work with models and designers. Some fashion photographers are possibly employed by fashion magazines, catalogs, advertising agencies, fashion houses, or maybe just self employed.
If you want to become a fashion photographer you don't need an undergraduate degree to do so, not required. You can usually get more skills and advance from apprenticeship with other photographers. The most important thing that most fashion photographers need is a portfolio of work. This is used to show their skills and how the artistic ways are unique and different from others and if they have a good technique to catch attention. You need to be able to perform and show the skills

You need to have the knowledge of technical elements of photography like lighting, sharpness, and composition. Another thing to know is the newest and highest trends happening and have your own ideas. You can't go into this thinking you can get a good job without having a good artistic mind with ideas you can put into photographs to catch peoples attentions if you don't know what you're doing. Being able to translate your artistic vision to photographs and what you're capturing. Also, you need interpersonal skills, by having relationships or communication between people. Like knowing stylists, make-up artist, and other professionals.
Being a photographer isn't always so easy and steady paste. To the U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics, supposedly photography jobs were expected to increase by 4% between 2012-2022. Composition for careers in photography is high. Many numbers of job seekers and with the relatively few open positions. In 2012 the mean yearly salary for photographers was $36,330. An alternate job, if this wasn't getting you to far and you were still interested in cameras you could also become a camera
