Fashion Of The 1980s

Improved Essays
Fashion of the 1980s can be celebrated for its creativeness. Some designers used the past for some inspiration, others forgot all about it. Early 80s consisted of more neutral colors and warm colors, such as browns, tans and oranges. People also thought dressing like a tennis player was cool. The waistline for men and women was also semi high.
In all honesty, the early 80s fashion was identical to the late 70s. In about 1983 there was a slight 1950s throwback, largely in women’s dresses. By the mid-80s, pop music stars were leading in an entirely new style. Some people might even associate it with the 2000s.
The 1980s is all about bright colored accessories, teased hair, and loud makeup. Sunglasses, bangles and hoop earrings were a necessity.
