Fashion for women has really changed from 1890 to now, starting with how the fashion started in 1890. Women would wear long skirts and large hats. Women teachers weren’t allowed to show very much skin, for example, they had to wear long shirts that went to their wrist and they would wear long skirts that went down to their ankles.That trend was popular until 1920 and fashion went wild. The fashion completely changed with skirts and dresses by the hemlines of skirts rising and waistlines of dresses lowering but that only happened for about 9 years before the hemlines of skirts began to lower again to knee lengths. After that fashion trend has changed over the years. Now trends are changing every couple of months or old trends are coming back.
