In this article written by Whitney Friedlander and published in variety magazine is about how costume designers make fashion statements. Often times the people who set trends are celebrities, fashion bloggers, or just free spirit people, but this article proves something different. It proves that the creativity that costumes designers have is truly amazing. Costume designers design and put outfits together based on what the film or TV show is about or even what the director is wanting the character to portray. But by doing that, many people get new ideas then start fashion trends. So, what this article is trying to prove is not only are the designers who work on set talented at putting costumes together, but they are also trend setters.
