I had never done PR work before, but I loved writing and learning about marketing, and I wanted to use that passion to make Courtney Lee Collection successful. I knew I was doing what I was meant to do. When I went back to school in the fall, I became a Style Guru intern for CollegeFashionista as a way to gain writing experience, and after graduation, I took an internship with the start-up womenswear brand GBEMi. GBEMi is such a small and new company, I have gained incredible knowledge of the branding, marketing, and public relations aspects of a fashion brand. All of my experiences solidified my interest in a fashion career, but my internship with GBEMi has made me realize that my true ambitions lie in marketing and PR for fashion
