There are many different reasons for no tilling. Some farmers practice no till farming to save there dirt from washing away due to great grades on hill slopes. Tillage done to no till fields, is done by natural causes. Farmers plant cover crops: rye, clover, radishes, numerous flower types and other grains. Planting these cover crops help break down the soil by growing and forming many roots to keep the top layer active. The longer roots bore their way through the compaction zone acting as a ripper. No till raises the organic matter in your soil little by little to help produce more and more production. It takes many years to build your organic matter level, restructure your soil and put natural life back in your soil. No till is the best way to get all three of the key elements at the top of the totem pole. Production can be limited due to the fact of shocking the soil and taking the soil out of rhythm. Once the soil is back to its natural way; soil production raises which helps produce healthy and natural foods, for all the people on earth to survive. Hog production is making a huge impact on the world today. Pork is cheap to buy which makes it affordable to many families. Hog confinements raise hogs to be sold as different types of meat. Bacon, ham and sausage are the big three that come to mind the quickest. Usually hog confinements are many different buildings which can range from a thousand head of hogs to multiple and multiple thousands of hogs. It is very similar aspect to beef production in the same aspect of being weened; then put on starter feed until on full feed. Once they are fattened they go to the market. Production is not a problem in the hog industry. Pigs average almost 2.3 liters a year. More and more meat (bacon) is able to reach people’s mouths in the morning afternoon or evening. With all of the liters means great production for a farmer and smile on the consumers face as the same on the producers
