Faraday, Stalin And The Dalai Lama

The tutorial was good and very interesting and I learnt a lot. It was also useful to attend it before I had read through the course text, and start my assignment. I have now done this and watched the accompanying DVD and have taught a lot more, all of it very interesting. The main task now is to learn how to take this information in, analyse it and how to correctly express myself when answering assignment questions.
The sections on Cézanne, Cleopatra, Faraday, Stalin and the Dalai Lama were fascinating, illuminating and educational.
I need to be aware of where to look for information, how to access it and how to use it. I must also be able to scrutinise my sources to check that they are relevant and of a suitable nature to be included within

Stalin continued on with the second and third 5 Year Plans in 1933 and 1938, respectively in addition to the economic policy of collectivization. However, Mao realized that the Soviet model for industrial development was not working in China due to China’s high ratio of people to resources and what first started off as Soviet aid had now turned into excessive loans and exploitation. Therefore, Mao modified the goals of the first 5 Year Plan and progressed towards the Great Leap Forward as his version of the second 5 Year Plan. While Stalin’s second and third 5 Year Plans set more realistic targets and focused on a greater production of machinery and arms for defence, they were considerably effective. Production of consumer goods and food was apparent however towards the third 5 Year Plan and the forthcoming of war, consumer production was once again put on hold.…

One of the most controversial topics in our world today is the idea of God. I will write my paper on how His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama and rabbi Abraham J. Heschel address the issue of a transcendent. People struggle with the continuous issue of whether or not God is real. They also struggle with the thought that if God is real, what is the purpose or what are you supposed to do with God in your life? Do you believe you were created by a supreme being with a specific purpose on how to live your life?…

This course so far has had very little review. The most difficult topics for me have definitely been subnetting, the issue I've had here is a get it when it's binary but converting it from binary back into normal numbers is really difficult for me I think the only way for me to really get it even though I have been practicing a lot is practicing more. The pace has been okay for me but I wish there was more time between when assignments are assigned and when they are due.…

I honestly enjoyed this course, it was as informative and interesting as Western Civilization I, and however, I learned a whole lot of new stuff in this course. It definitely exceeded my expectations because it was able to keep me focus on all the material. The information that was given was information that intrigued me, and left me wanting to learn more and more from the different subject. I honestly do not have any suggestions for improvement, because I think it is fine just the way it is. I personally believe that we do learn from our history, but sometimes history tends to repeat itself.…

The course AFAS 160 D1 is my first online class, and until now I still felt lucky to choose this class as one of my general education classes, because it gave me a great opportunity and an eye-opening experience about learning the African American Culture which I have never learned before and also gave me a chance to learn online. Describing this course to someone else, I would say this class is interesting and if you want to learn this class well, you need to prepare the Voice Thread and read the book carefully. To be honest, making videos on Voice Thread gave me a unique experience. I still remembered the first time I made a video on Voice Thread how nervous I was, I was afraid to have different ideas with other students and worried if they disagreed with me what should I do?…

Recently, our literature class has been organizing a research paper in which we analyzed, argued, and defended our views on a particular conspiracy. Certainly, this project has enabled us to critically analyze our sources so that our references are credible and up to date. The assassination of President John F. Kennedy is still one of debate today, even though it happened fifty-two years ago. The reason being, because there are many opinions and controversies surrounding his death. The power of the "publish first-filter later" world, makes it hard to find credible sources that the reader can depend on.…

Having wrapped up my Happiness Rotation on Wednesday it will be a good time to get my feedback posted. I started my rotation on 8 June along with bob. bob kicked off out first session and we started getting acquainted with the training material. I enjoyed the self paced nature, and found I had to keep my self on track with the endless links that can be followed and masses of information just waiting to be consumed. The training videos were also very informative, I just wish I had discovered the 'HD' option on the videos earlier :-)…
