I. Pre-project input

Faraday motion was founded to enable makers of all sizes and skill levels to create personal electric vehicles that suit their own unique needs and taste. Soon enough the first prototype was created using 3D Printing and electronics to hack a normal skateboard into what then became the most advanced electric skateboard in the world. Their technology was based on idea that the board should be customizable, electric and easy to take with on public transportations (Sofie, 2016). A product idea we need to work on, it is a portable scooter for transportation of people. This one should be small enough to be carried around. Also, a good market segmentation and a market search should be evaluated in order for the product to become a success innovation.

Conducting survey to the target groups help evaluating their needs and how they act about this opportunity. Within the survey, Faraday will be able to analyze what users do want more in a product like electric scooter. Quantitative researches as surveys and interviews come across directly to what users want to see in the product and it is a powerful tool to distinguish between the important features users seek in a product.

As Faraday Motion offers a customizable product that can be edited to fit every customer needs. This is also a plan that keep the consumers be more attracted to this product. Developing a plan for product options and extending product family will increase the potency of the product and will result in bringing revenues up because the users have options to buy extensions for the
