In Mitch Albom’s book Tuesdays with Morrie, the author quotes his old professor Morrie Schwartz: “Only an open heart will allow you to float equally between everyone.” (128) What Morrie said in this quote, really opened up my eyes to see the world how it really is. As I look around the world today, I see people who think they are the highest of them all in the social stance. Whether because their famous, rich, or for another reason, they think they are better. But the thing is, there just like everyone else. Not all famous people are like this, or people in general, only some are. Everyone is so caught up in their life of work or getting into the crowd of people who don’t care about you, and aren’t really your friends, that they don’t take
