How many times have you gone on a family vacation? I have only been out of Iowa three times, all on school field trips. My parents hate traveling so I haven’t ever gone on a vacation. This is why I would absolutely love to be able to go to Santorini, Greece someday. I would love to be able to feel the cool breeze of the ocean air on my face, feel the cool, crunchy texture of the sand in between my toes, and taste the salt water on my lips. First, I’m planning to go when I’m twenty nine, because by then I’ll have graduated college and have had a full time job for a while and be able to save a lot of money. I would like to go before I’m thirty. I would like to do at least one major trip every year before I hit a milestone year, like thirty, forty and fifty. I have a large fear of becoming old and realizing I never did anything fun or crazy in my life. I would love to be able to tell my grandkids all about the crazy adventures there grandma had. I also think being exposed to a new culture and seeing a whole new society would be an incredible experience. However I am extremely nervous about the plane ride, but I think overcoming that fear will help build my confidence and show me I can do it if I tried. Obviously, it’ll …show more content…
If I didn’t die on the plane ride to Greece there is no why I would be able to leave without jumping out of a plane. Falling 200 feet every second traveling at 200 mph, the instructor would have to jump with me so he can pull the parachute because I’ll probably be too scared. Once I land I’ll have to lay on the ground for a while just to make sure I’m still alive. To help balance out crazy with fun I’m going to go parasailing. My heart will be racing before we take off and going higher and higher in the air. My knuckles will turn white from holding onto the bar so tight. Once I get comfortable I’ll let go and put my hands up and scream, that’s when I’ll know I’m making my dreams come
