One could have been an unsuccessful, heartbroken life style where I would see myself as a victim and look for pity. The second path (which is the one I took) involved looking at the situation I had, understanding that there was nothing I could do to fix it, and learning the most from it that I could. I have learned from this struggle to empathize with …show more content…
My father was an All-American swimmer in college, two of my cousins and uncle all played professional baseball, and my other cousin currently plays volleyball at the University of Louisville. Now although these may be my cousins, we are extremely close because of the fact that I am an only child, so they were like the siblings I never had. No matter what the situation, whether it be applying to colleges or playing a pickup game of football, I will always have the instincts to do whatever I can to the best of my ability. This is also a trait that I can apply to my intended line of work because I can fight for clients, loans, and investments that many people would not have the desire to work …show more content…

My family also supported and encouraged me to do some things that I typically did not do but wanted to. No matter what activity was, my family helped me get whatever I needed and also supported me by showing up at various performances and events. In the middle of my summer vacation, she had kicked him out of the house and that’s when she had a nervous breakdown. The beginning of my sophomore year, the house I was living in was about to be foreclosed. My mother was still shut in and I was taking care of my siblings and doing housework.…

You must look deep into the Scriptures for interlocking clues. The Bible is sequential, and it is very much a living book.…

If my mom and dad would have never split up, my mom never would have met my step dad, who showed me that a man could love and care for a child as his own even if they aren’t blood. He spent time with me, bought me nice clothes and toys, and basically spoiled me my entire childhood. He always believed in me, and pushed me beyond my limits, because he saw potential in me. I do not think any less of him because he isn 't my real dad. Another reason I 'm thankful for the way I was raised, is that the home I spent most of my time at led me to believe that everything in life is easy and everyone can have nice possessions and go on fancy vacations, but I learned that was not the case.…
