Family Tree Essay: Growing Up In My Family

Family tree assignment Growing up in my house was an adventure to say the least. In my family I have 4 brothers including myself. Their names are Andrew, Alex, Aaren and Aarec. My mothers name is Deedee and my father Todd. Andrew is the oldest of the brothers he was born in 1992, I was born in 1993 and the twinks were born in 1994. We grew up on 17 acres of land in Lakeville Minnesota, a growing suburb with the population of about 50,000 people. All four of us played lacrosse and graduated at Lakeville South High School. My mom was lucky enough to have Andrew first and then myself afterwards but she really wanted to have a baby girl, however she was stuck with my two twin brothers Aaren and Aarec. After that my dad and Mom called it good. One of my favorite stories from my childhood was when my mom went into labor with the twins. They are the children of Dorothy salyards Mooney my grandmother and John Gordon Ruthford my grandfather. Shawn has 3 kids, my cousins Cody, Brady, and Chase. Carrie has one child, Dakota. My grandmother wanted was a granddaughter but instead was blessed with 8 grandsons. My grandparents got divorced in the 1980s and my grandmother remarried to my step grandfather Joseph Mooney.
I come from a lot of different nationalities most of them are the Nordic countries, My grandfather John on my moms side is Icelandic, my grandmother is Scottish. On my fathers side my grandmother is Swedish and Norwegian and my grandfather is German, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. I take pride in my Nordic heritage a lot mostly because I look Scandinavian and I Have the most of it in me. I am not sure if this is true or not but when I talked to my grandfather John on my mom’s side he said that his sister tracked our lineage to Scandinavian Viking tribes that lived and settled in
