We feel the crisp cool wind skim across our faces. The smell of pine trees fill the air, along with sap and hot chocolate. One of our family traditions is to go out and get the Christmas tree the Monday after Thanksgiving. We all go and pick out the tree that we want. It cannot be too big or too small, too fat or too skinny, it must be just right. After we find the tree, me and my brother always try to find a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. These are the twigs that have been cut off of the trees that have been sawed down. After we get our tree put on the top of our car, we go to the Dunkin’ Doughnuts by Edwards Music, and Little Caesars. Some years we stay in cabins, other years it is a day long trip. Some years friends come, other years it is just family. Let me take you on a tour of the river. IT starts in this freezing cold water where you are trying to remember why you wanted to go tubing again. The river is moving the tubes go by very until until, BOOM a huge “current” hits and suddenly it feels like you are getting moved 75 mph! You get stuck on rocks and need people to help you get out. Then a fork in the river appears, which direction is it? Where is the right way? You stop yourself to see where professionals turn at. Then it gets calm again until you hear screaming, yelling, people falling out of their tubes. You realize that the time has come for you to face the Terminator. What is it you ask? It is only the scariest rapid you will ever encounter, it takes tubes under, leaving you tubeless, makes you wish you had never even gone tubing. But when that’s over you can take out your gum and stick it on the good ol’ gum tree. Many people have put their gum there. Beyonce, Rihanna, Ke$ha, Hugh Jackman. Well they haven’t but it is a convenient and nasty way to get right of your gum. After the gum tree the trip is almost over, when it is you have to get out of the tube and back in the freezing water to be
