My vision for completing a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is to position myself for a variety of disciplines and populations in the mental health field. I have extensive background with the following populations: veterans, insurance professionals, urban groups and baby boomers. There is a great need for licensed professionals to assist veterans and their families with a host of issues to include drug rehabilitation, domestic violence, PTSD, rape counseling and readjustment to civilian life. I have prior experience working in urban and rural areas with clients that have never received mental health services and are open to a change in lifestyle.
