“Nurses' understanding about the delivery of family centred care in the neonatal unit” (Higman and Shaw, 2008) was the third expose chosen by the author. This qualitative study was carried out to direct attention towards the nurses who are expected to deliver FCC and investigate their attitudes towards it. With this study the researcher used the purposive sampling method as it is consistent with the need to select participants who match the focus of the study. Seven nurses were interviewed from a staff of 60; the duration of recruitment was two months and within this 12 nurses responded for invitation for interview.
