The way the portrait is laid out to where the mother is in the center and it’s sort of lined up diagonally leading up to the mother. Also if you look at smaller details it’s showing what each child likes or what describes them for example one child is holding a book and another is holding a tennis racket and they are all boys except for one and she looks very innocent and sweet and is dressed similar to her mother, wearing a white dress while the boys are wearing suits. The mother is standing up and she looks strong, this effect is made by vertical lines showing power and she is wearing a red shawl or cape. Another thing I saw in the museum was this fantastic sculpture made by Subodh Gupta, the sculpture is untitled and was made in 2008. One of the first things that I saw during the trip to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston was this interactive piece made by Olafur Eliasson named “The collectivity project.” This artwork was started in 2005 and has been in various locations. This project has a very child like feeling to it since it is made out of legos and everyone played with legos when they were children. I very much like the whole vibe of this interactive work because it reminded me of when I was younger. While researching this project I saw numerous pictures of it and they are all so different from each other since the project is made so that you can build it, take away, or add to previous things that were already there. When we arrived there were three tables, the two on the side were already started and they were both very different from each other, the middle table held a plethora of legos of all different kinds and sizes, some of the pieces there were also started. The group that I went on the field trip with were only there for a couple of minutes for two reasons one being that we had to go and the other being that even though it did catch our attention we were somewhat over it. However later we came back a group of little kids, probably in elementary, were there and they were having the time of their lives. Which bring back my point that the 4D piece had a
