Another important factor physical science has to medicine is in the MCAT. The test is broken down into 4 components, and one of them is Chemical & Physical Foundation of Biological Systems. Subjects can vary from Stoichiometry, Acids and Bases, Waves and Sound, and many other physical science subjects.
Students may decide to enter an MCAT Prep Class to further study the Chemical & Physical components. Though this course is not a necessity, it is offered to help or provide clarification for the MCAT.
