Family Interview

I chose to interview my mother, Hollie Heim. Her life started off by being born six weeks late on March 19th, 1975. As a child, her family was very poor and her father wasn’t around as a child. This was because he went to Davenport and got a good job to try to support the family, only being home on weekends. Although her family was not very stable, she played football, piano, and the clarinet.She often went to the park with her friends to play. This made her forget about the struggle back home. At a young age she went through many hardships. When she was eight years old her grandma died at the age of 102. This mostly effected her mom because she was not able to have a mom of her own anymore. Hollies grandpa effected her life also, when he got laid off and had to go to school and find a good job to support his family. Another influence in her life was her sixth grade teacher. He taught her to believe she could do anything she put her heart to. All those people helped form her life into something special and now she is forming her children's life as well. …show more content…
Her children are, my fourteen year old brother Cole, and myself, twelve year old Ella. Along with her children she has a mom and dad who always support her through anything. She also has one brother, Louie, who almost cut her fingers off when they were younger. Louie has a nine year old son, Cayden, her nephew. Finally, you cant forget about her boyfriend, Paul. Her family is a blessing to always be supporting her through
