Families serve to set the fundamentals they see fit for life. Without having knowledge of life and being dependent, young children submit to the rules and regulations made within the family. Making a connection from Advice to my son by Peter Meinke, to this day I will recall the advice shared with me to manage an exceptional and lengthy life “Everything I tell you is for a reason” I quote my mother. Family will be my first choice when in need of support or in seek of answers. I chose to elaborate on Everyday Use by Alice Walker, just as the oldest daughter of the story strayed from her family as did the oldest son of my family.
