Sometimes the only help you want is in the form of a distraction. You may not be able to return to previous hobbies, but there is no harm in looking for something new to do. Think about what you enjoyed in previous activities that you did - e.g. sport, did you enjoy the competitive nature? Did you like the team work involved? Getting out and socialising might be difficult to begin with, but there are low impact activities that you can engage
