Patient and family centered care (PFCC) guides our everyday interactions and our planning and program development. The main goal of PFCC is to create a mutual partnerships among healthcare providers, patients and families that enhance the quality and safety and care for each family and lead to the best health outcomes. The PFCC approach places an effectiveness on building relationships between patients, families, and healthcare providers. Family plays a main role in ensuring the health and well-being of patients.
