Family Bias Research Paper

Personal Bias Paper The definition of family is actually something we’ve discussed in numerous classes this semester. The conclusion we have come to is that there is no real definition of family. This is mostly due to the fact that everyone’s view of the perfect family is different. To me however, I would define family as being two or more people who love, support, and share similar values. I also do not necessarily believe families need to be blood related either. I feel like families are very important to individuals, as well as society. For the most part our families are our first role models. We inherit certain traits from them and also develop similar values and beliefs as well. Certain values I believe every family needs to hold in order to be adequately functioning. For example, I believe each family should have love, respect, patients, trust, and support as values. Family Life Education is a very important concept I believe. They display values that are beneficial for both individuals and families within the public. Certain programs offer support for individuals/families who are going through a hard time. They also offer knowledge on developing helpful skills to handle situations depending on the program, as well as working together to come to the best option. …show more content…
FLE programs are offered in numerous different areas such as; schools, churches, etc. Offering these programs through popular community places allow them to be more available to a majority of the public. By having numerous different places offer FLE programs, you allow a variety of different programs be presented to the community. Also, this allows you to have different programs that specialize in different values. As far as the content I would select, it would all determine on what I relate or connect to the most.
