I also learned some new skills in interviewing as this would be needed in my field later on in life. As far as writing the resumé and cover letter, and executing the interviews, I have learned new skills and all are beneficial into me becoming a Family Attorney. In early March I had the honor of interviewing two Family Attorney’s as apart of my Senior Research Project. The two attorney’s I interviewed was Attorney Nate Blackmon and Attorney Terri Herron. Attorney Nate Blackmon has been in the field for almost two years now while Attorney Terri Herron has been in the field for almost 10 years now. The interview experience for both of them was very thrilling and quite nerve-racking. Both gave me quite a bit of information that has not only inspired me but also allowed me to learn something new. Something that has inspired me was in the interview with Attorney Nate Blackmon when he stated, “As hard as this job is, just look at the goal you are trying to reach, only your goal, not what everybody's is expecting of you...” (Blackmon 1).
