This performance is from October in 2015. Personally I liked the piece, but it could use a little more help. While they have good points in the piece they also had some low points. The basses had a good deep and dark sound like you want for many of our male singers to achieve. Their vowels were outstanding just like they always are. The sound pyramid was in great effect in this performance. Wingate’s choir used articulation to their advantage when they were forming their vowels before the downbeat. The formation they decided to use was actually kinda cool by putting the guys in the back and the girls in the front, as it made the sound mix very well. This formation also helped to make the basses sing out and that is what helped us last year
