Hopeless End or Endless Hope?
Imagine a world filled with constant negativity, criticism, and no confidence in the future. If everyone had a pessimistic attitude, what would be altered? Likely, no one would be persistent in aiming to achieve their goals and learning from their failures. As a result, I believe in optimism.
During my entire life, I’ve moved several times. From Connecticut to New Jersey to California back to New Jersey and to…well, you get the idea. Due to this, I quickly learned to adapt to new environments and assimilated the situations.
More specifically, when I reflect on the activities I had to undergo during relocation, I suppose moving from California to New Jersey was the toughesr. The atmosphere of each area had their own significant differences—the attitudes and requirements for social acceptance. Not to mention, I had to leave behind my beloved friends, a comfortable home, and a life I had grown accustomed to. I remember the fun I had while playing

Every day, I always try to live life to the fullest which allows me to find joy in little things, as opposed to gloomily dwelling on what could’ve been done. I work hard on focusing on the positive, and that pushes me to set out on following my dreams. One must realize that pessimism won’t make any difference as it doesn’t encourage one to succeed or set high standards, nor does it teach one to reach out and experience new things. As J.K. Rowling wrote, “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if only one remembers to turn on the light” (“34 Most Inspirational Harry Potter Quotes”). Even though being upbeat is sometimes difficult, it’s important to be good to accept unfortunate situations one can't change because everyone must endure stressful circumstances beyond their control and adapt to them.
