Fallacies A fallacy I notice in a song is The Appeal to Tradition. The song is by Weird Al & it’s called “Weasel Stomping Day,”. In the lyrics it talks about a fictional holiday, in which people spread mayonnaise across their lawns. These people put on viking helmets as well as hiking boots and smash weasels to death. The song also states “It’s tradition, that makes it okay” basically saying that despicable acts are tolerated if they’re tradition. People deny that aliens exist because humans simply do not know if they exist. Denying aliens exist without evidence is a great example of The Argument from Ignorance. Humans deny they exist because there is no evidence proving that they do exist. The documentaries on aliens always speculate on
