Fallacies Misconceptions

The media outlets have become a polarized institution which utilized a broad range of common fallacies to convey messages to their audience. One example is the recent presidential election. Some of the media outlets virtually create a lot of distractions. And, too often, there are many irrelevancies which were calculated to distract viewers, in particular, the American people from the real issues at large. We have recently heard of reported instances of “Fake News.” Sadly, this is the case, because the major news organization is of these types of behaviors to illustrate their support for a given candidate or a political party. Other tactics of fallacies are TV commercials in which they appeal to pity and inappropriate arguments. These types of tactics work because folks are vulnerable and, in many cases, they can be easily manipulated. As a result, TV commercials are spending billions of dollars since the advertisements are a huge business for networks and the Internet. …show more content…
It is unclear to say exactly about the assumption of those presenting arguments are assuming about their viewers. However, it is worth noting, these types of institutions likely to be doing the same thing as they have been successfully persuading and misleading people for decades. With respect to the advertisement, we have seen that the internet and most networks typically advertise anything, regardless if the information that is being reported is accurate or not. These practices are typically what one would call “media malpractice.” In that sense, any false reporting about “Fake News” as well as an advertisement that cannot stand behind the product and verified are a clear indication that these type of practices and assumptions are categorically wrong and
