Fall Training In High School

This time of the season around the holidays, is time to reflect on our fall training. The fall training was different from years past, as we started on October 1st instead of early September. With the idea being that it would allow the student-athlete sometime to just be a student and lay a solid foundation academically. The main purpose for the fall is to initiation the new players to the high school game and to start to build team comradery. The fall main objectives were to one concentrate on individual development and two practice team concepts. Every training session was broken up into three categories; Individual, transition, team concept. Our coaching staff modeled each practice around these three main tenants. For me individual
