The great Roman empire eventually fell, there are many people that would say that the Roman empire fell for many reasons I believe it fell from a result of three. The Roman empire was able to accomplish many great things in architecture, government, entertainment, and military strategy; influencing the modern world. But in 476 C.E all these things would be no more as the curtain closed on Rome's 1,500-year-long performance. The three main reasons the Roman empire fell was the barbarian invasion, decline in morals and values, and Urban Decay. The barbarians took over Rome and resulted in the fall of the Roman empire. The barbarians north of the Roman empire came from Germany, they were never able to pass the forces of the Roman empire. But during the third century A.D., the Roman soldiers defending the border were moved to fight in the civil war happening in Rome. The city of Rome was very big so it was very hard to control all the violence in such a large area.
