“This town isn’t safe anymore…”
Character creation is one of the most creative and fun parts about Larp, you can be whoever or whatever you want to be. Your character will go on adventures in the vast wastelands known as Greyfell, your character will meet other members of this town, and they’ll learn there back stories. Your character will become another part of you, your personally and creative mind will give life to this character. Costume design, backstory, and class selection will help you in making your character something unique.
But how do you create a character?
Creating a character for Fall of Man is easy, all you need is…
- Basic information (Name, age, Race, etc.)
- Personality
- Badass Backstory
- Costume
- Character Card
- A

A good tip to keep in mind is to have your backstory and personality match up, Scrubs is typically less of a risk taker due to his blindness, but on occasion will do something risky.
If you feel even more adventurous, consider asking other Fall of Man players to take a look at it, or even include them in your story. It will also make you seem more connected to other players in Fall of Man!
Step 4: Costume
Costume design can easily make your character look and feel more in the time period, for example. You wouldn’t see a person out on the streets wearing a gasmask, looking like he just murdered seven people, all while enjoying a drink from the Dive!
Sites like Pintrest, google images, and Larp discussion forms are a great way to get inspiration. A lot of materials needed to make a great Post-Apocalyptic are materials you may already have in your house (or apartment, I don’t know your life).
Remember, when it comes to the races Ghoul, Mutant, and Biomech. It is a costume requirement to have some form of makeup or prostitute. This can be as simple or complex as you

You will save yourself a lot of work. Also, it would really suck to lose 10 stamps that can’t be replaced, which means almost ten months of work that you lost because your card got damaged. Bottom line, get your card backed up, or keep it safe!
Finally steps, try and stay “In Character” or IC as much as possible during the session, as it will make your experience memorable. Only break character if it is absolutely necessary such as if there is an emergency, or something needs more explaining. In the event that something happens, Role Play it out…
Construction of Ren Fair? “High levels of radiation forces everyone out of Greyfell to a nearby ghost town…” Player needs to leave the session early? “At that moment, (blank) was no longer in Greyfell. Nobody had heard from him since this morning…” Some caught their pants on fire? “There pants caught on fire!” (In the event that a player’s pants do catch on fire, yell “hold” and attempt to put the fire out using safe methods. Hold all combat and RP until someone yells “Lay On.”)
And with all this in mind, your character is ready to go. Grab your character card, your foam latex weapon, and your backstory and head to the next

The conflict of George bush being involved in 9/11 can be solved by either George bush being taken to prison because of a confession, enough evidence comes out that he gets taken to court, or al Qaeda admits that it was planned by George bush. While the twin tower attacks were going on, George bush was reading a book to second graders. Suddenly, one of the secret servicemen came and whispered something in his ear. He continued to read. The secret servicemen had said something about the attack when the first tower was hit, then he whispered again when the second tower was hit, he continued to read.…

The government has portrayed themselves as good people when in fact they manipulate the citizens, officials keep secrets away from the citizens by not telling even when most know the answer. The government has deceived the nation of America for generations, doing things that isn’t government type. Throughout history the government has deceived it’s citizens in countless different ways. For example they invade privacy, allow illegal activity, lied on important documents, and even tapped in on pictures you send to others. The government has trespassed on their citizens plenty of times, for example President Nixon has wiretapped on his own office men because he didn’t believe the board.…

Horror is a film genre designed to obtain a negative emotional reaction from viewers such as fear, panic and fright while captivating and entertaining us at the same. The conventions of horror films are an agreed set of standards enshrined within the cinematography, characters, mise-en-Scene, sound and location of the film to create a sense of fear and vulnerability for the audience to experience. I.e.: High and low, angle shots, dark locations, exaggerated diegetic sound to increase tension, dark colours for psychological impact etc. I will be writing about The Babadook. The demographic audience are teenagers aged 15+ of both genders because there are graphic and bloody images as well as similar aspects that would appeal as entertaining for teenagers and adults of both genders.…

September 11, 2011 was a very rough time to say the least for many citizens of the US. On this day the US was put to test by a terrorist group named Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda hijacked four different planes and flew two of them into the twin trade centers in New York. Another plane was flown into the pentagon in Washington DC, and the last plane crashed in the middle of nowhere in Pennsylvania because the passengers on the plane fought back against the terrorists who were hijacking it. By watching a documentary on George W. Bush about how he responded to 9/11 I was able to see that this event was crucial to America, and depending on how Bush reacted to the event, it would determine the outcome of the attacks.…

There is only so much a news article can say, but a photograph can bring emotion to you that changes your outlook on that situation. For example, a very famous photo by Richard Drew called ‘The Falling Man’, a photograph of the 9/11 attack witnessing the moment a workman from the towers plummeted to the ground after jumping. Even though this event was worldwide renowned, many people were unaware of the actual emotion associated with the event, the terror and the destruction that happened on that date. The different and most impacting part of this image is that from this event the most widely known photographs were of the planes or the towers, whereas Drews photograph was of the people, which creates a whole new level of compassion and emotion…

As, I enter the room, the first thing I do is welcome the patient and wash my hands to ensure patient safety. I would then ask the patient if she would like to go by Ms. P or if she prefers to be called by another name. Once we finalize a name, I would introduce myself as Rachna Talluri, a medical student, that is assisting the supervising physician. Then I address my tardiness and apologize for wasting the patient’s time. An important part of this is to make sure that the patient knows that I value their time as much as mine, and that I understand the negative connotations of my tardiness.…
