There are many cases where people have been misguided with some false news, and this news has affected them in negative ways. Fake news can create a lot of trouble. For example, fake news about a celebrity can decrease their reputation among the people. Fake news is very crucial and people should be very aware about this kind of news. BBC News is a famous and trustworthy news site which provides clear and accurate news. If this type of popular page post any kind of news, then there is a very less chance of them posting fake news. Recent news from BBC was about Republican having to pay more tax. The headline of the news is “Reality Check: Will Republican Tax Plan Hurt Trump?” The news gives detail information about how Trump might get affected and how he is dealing with the new tax plan. The news also provide some link related to the issue in which Trump is talking about the loss that he will get into because of the new plan. The news gives specific information related to the headline and not only that, it also provides different link that is related to the news. This news is also posted by some other news site like Miami Herald which is also one of the trusted and reputable news sources. These are the factor needed to find out about the real news. Now, talking about the fake news, on August 31, 2017, TheLastLineOfDefense.com released a news which said “Did a Texas Mosque Refuse to Help Hurricane Harvey survivors?” The news says that the mosque refused to provide shelter and help the hurricane survivors. People believed this news, and then they started a controversy where they called out names on Muslim and started giving negative comments on the Muslim people. This fake news must have been posted by someone who is against the Muslim religion and wants to make them look bad in front of the world. This news can be said fake because it is posted by some unknown source. In addition, this news has not been posted by any other news websites.
