Several times in the bible when Jesus heals he says “that it is by faith that you were healed” (Matthew 9:28-29, KJV). Without faith people are just making a mockery out of God and His working power; so much so that were there is a lack of faith God will actually remove His power from that place. Tom Brown says, “Well, if doubt could stop God 's healing power, then faith releases God 's healing power. So what we need is FAITH” (Brown, 2015). Even the bible discusses doubts in James 1:6, “But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind (NIV).
