God Restores There are multiple times in the bible where people ask Jesus Christ to restore (heal) them or someone they love. Sometimes they want a spiritual restoration and other times people want a physical restoration but most times they received both a physical and spiritual restoration for when Christ restores the two become inseparable. On Earth, Jesus showed humanity the image of the Father that is in heaven and everything Jesus did was because God the Father told him to do it, at that time, and in that specific order. Several times in the bible when Jesus heals he says “that it is by faith that you were healed” (Matthew 9:28-29, KJV). Without faith people are just making a mockery out of God and His working power; so much so that were there is a lack of faith God will actually remove His power from that place. Tom Brown says, “Well, if doubt could stop God 's healing power, then faith releases God 's healing power. So what we need is FAITH” (Brown, 2015). Even the bible discusses doubts in James 1:6, “But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind (NIV). In order to be restored one must first have faith and once Jesus has healed them they must now live in their new transformed lives. Mark 10:52 says, “Go, said Jesus, your faith has healed you. God does not just heal someone and continue on with His day but He transforms their life in a way that will make them not want to return to the things that they did before they were healed. The story of Mary Magdalene is the best example of God’s transformational power. She was a demon-possessed, prostitute that was set-up by the priest of the church in order to trick Jesus and to have a justified reason to kill Him. She was thrown in front of Jesus and He was given the responsibility to decide her fate in front of church in the midst of her community, who was ready to stone her. (In those days it was lawful to stone someone who was caught in the act of adultery). Instead of allowing all those people to stone her, He told the angry crowd to only throw the stone if they had never committed a sin themselves (John 8:7,
