“Kids, I need to tell you something!” My mom yelled.
“What!” Me and my brothers yelled almost at the same time.
“ I need to tell you guys something, come down here!” Mom yelled back up.
We hurried down stairs and walked into the living room.
“What?” I asked.
“ We are thinking about going to Tennessee for the Solar Eclipse.”
“ Really!” I said. I can’t wait!
“ We will go in August, if we do go,” said mom in a calm and happy voice. In August we started packing for Tennessee. We started looking for hotels and places we could rent, but then my dad remembered that he had friends that lived in Tennessee. We packed up the boat and the bed of the truck, we were almost ready to go

We found out where my parents friends live. We got there, and set up our tent same with air mattresses and to get all of are stuff inside the tents . It was hard to clean up the tent when there's a cat that keeps on going under the tent. I had to share an air mattress with my younger brother Josh. The next few days we just hung around and chilled. On monday we started to pack up, and we realised it was the day of the Solar Eclipse. We were in Tennessee, in the 99 degree weather it was like we were being cooked in an oven, eating snacks and burgers. We were constantly looking up in the sky with the Eclipse glasses on, looking at the sun, and waiting for the whole Solar Eclipse to happen. While we were waiting for it to happen the sun looked like a ball of cheese that had a bite taken out of it. At about 1:30 in the afternoon, it finally happened the sun was covered up by the moon the whole way, enough for us to look at it without Eclipse glasses.
It cooled off during this time, but the most interesting thing is that it got so dark out the outside lights turned on. It looked like the sun was setting, because all the clouds got colorful like cotton

It was amazing that I was able to see it in person right underneath where the solar eclipse hit .
After we helped clean up, we finished packing and set off for Dale Hollow.
At 5 o’clock in the evening we got to Dale Hollow campground.

We didn’t set up our tent right away, instead we got into our swimsuits and went out on the lake.
“ Wow, this isn’t cold at all, it’s nice.” I said after I jumped in.
“ Well yeah, we’re in Tennessee, not Michigan,” mom chimed in.
“ It is warm!” My older brother seth said. After two hours out on the boat we got out of the water and set up our tent, by than it was 7:30 at night, so it was pretty dark. We setup our tent and took turns changing into our

There could be more than one definition of a beautiful place; they all differ from each other. For example, the sight and sound of ocean waves colliding with each other as they ooze onto the shore of the beach could be a definition of a beautiful place; however, the sight of gleaming city lights with the glowing silver shine of the moon resting in the sky could also be a definition of a beautiful place. Hume Lake Christian Camp is my definition of a beautiful place. It is located in the Sequoia National Forest in Hume, Fresno County, California.…

My friends and I have been having a hard week and we wanted to just relax so I suggested to them my lake house house. They wanted a little bit more rustic feel to camping but none of us really had any actual camping gear so we just opted for the lake house. We got all the essentials for the weekend: bug repellent, snacks, a radio, and a friendly little card game to take our minds off the world back at home. Everything was going smooth until it hit about six-ish, that’s when everything just seemed to get a little bit more stressful. When, at the store, we got everything a girl could ask for and then some, we got brownies, chips, stuff to make milkshakes, ect.…
