“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) This sacred writing from the New Testament characterizes what faith is. In the Hebrew Bible, New Testament and the Qur’an, faith is a focal topic and this is to stress how steadfast Abraham was to God. The relevance of this in these sacred books was present the character of Abraham in which they are all considers a prophet.
In the Hebrew Bible, God already knew that Abraham was a faithful individual. God knew this when Abraham confided in God for his significant other, Sarah, to be considered with a kid at an elderly age even though she is barren.
