Faith Definition Essay

When someone says that they have faith about someone or something, they often refer to having a strong belief in whatever it may be. Faith is having the confidence or trust in something or someone often times not based on proof. A person can display faith in many different ways and forms. Being that there are many different types of faith, they all have to do with the same thing. Just to name a few a person can demonstrate their faith by having, healing and living by faith. One form of faith is having faith. When someone has faith they own it. They have no doubt in their mind that something is going to happen. For example, a girl named Cherrelle was told by her mother that her great-grandmother has stage four stomach cancer in February. Cherrelle’s great-grandmother was in and out the hospital for weeks at a time. In March, Cherrelle’s great-grandmother began her chemotherapy. Cherrelle’s grandmother didn’t take the chemotherapy very well. Mostly because of her age, Cherrelle’s grandmother had complications with the awful amount of chemo that was …show more content…
When someone lives by faith that person goes through life believing in whatever it is that gives them comfort. An example would be a kid going from living in poverty to growing up to become a billionaire. Being that there are countless factors that could have held that kid from becoming a billionaire, the kid lives each day by faith. From his or her peers to the area of where he or she grew up to all the distractions that could have that doing everything that is not a positive contribution to their goals in becoming a billionaire. He or she lives their life trusting that there is something more for them in life. They don’t see that one day that they will move away from the poor slums from which they grew up in. They don’t even see how they will become a billionaire, they just live their life having faith that one day it is going to get better for
