Most cases in this disease will be caused by a mutation in the specific genes. It is usually triggered during early childhood. You find that they will experience a pain in the knees and hips. Some of the kids will be short for their age. The individuals affected by this disease will experience early onset arthritis which can lead to a chronic pain in the joints [arthralga]. They are affected by such a disease from the ages of 5 or 6 years. There are also some rare cases where there is a deformity in the hips or main joints which require operations most of the times.
Treatment
In terms of treatment well it requires a lot of specialist. In most cases they are there to help with diagnosis especially Orthopedic surgeons. Doctors usually use different types of treatment to counteract with pains in the body like hydrotherapy. They might not be any real cure but sometimes surgery is required for some of the symptoms to relieve the pain. Weight control is suggested sports using too much of the joints to be avoided. Swimming and cycling also comes in highly recommended.
